Cavities are mostly preventable, which is why at Dentalgarten, we offer dental health education even before your baby is born—long before the first tooth erupts. We take the time to counsel you on all things dental and provide gentle, non-invasive clinical services as part of an interdisciplinary pediatric medical team.
True cavity prevention starts with healthy dental habits from birth! Small-sized online classes where we discuss the importance of oral health during pregnancy, prepare for your baby’s home oral care from day one and cover the Big 5 cavity-causing factors.
Small-sized online classes where we review your baby’s home oral care, provide advice on teething relief, discuss pacifiers and thumbsucking, explore tooth-friendly baby snacks and beverages, and expand on the Big 5 cavity-causing factors.
In-clinic services
Our appointments are education-focussed. From your baby’s first dental visit through the early years, we hope to instill the confidence in using the oral disease prevention tips we teach for lifelong oral health. When your child graduates from our clinic, we hope you’ll be proud to have called Dentalgarten their first introduction to dental care.
Our services includes:
- First dental visits and routine oral exams
- Dental cleanings
- Fluoride treatments
- Non-invasive cavity arresting treatments
- Cavity risk assessments, dental counselling and goal development
- Virtual follow-ups to track goal progress
Our little patients graduate when they are ready to take x-rays, typically around age 4 or 5. Patients with special needs are welcome to continue their care with us.
Older children struggling with cavity control are welcome to join Dentalgarten for a limited time as we work together to find practical, lasting solutions for lifelong oral health.
